My Plan for a Stronger 8th Ward

Our neighborhoods deserve leadership that listens, acts, and delivers. I’m running to represent the 8th Ward because I believe in the power of local government to make a real difference in people’s lives. Whether it’s making it easier to open a small business, ensuring our streets are safe and walkable, or fighting for housing that working families can afford — I’m focused on getting things done. My platform reflects the everyday needs and bold hopes of our community. Here's how I plan to lead:

Invest in the Historic Heart of St. Louis

I’ll fight for more affordable housing, support small businesses, and cut red tape so our neighborhoods — from downtown to Cherokee Street — can thrive.

Champion Community-Centered Public Safety

I’ll prioritize proactive safety solutions, better transit, and safer streets to make the 8th Ward more walkable, livable, and connected.

MEET JAMI

Jami Cox Antwi is a community advocate, working mother, and policy leader running to represent the 8th Ward on the St. Louis Board of Aldermen. She believes every neighborhood — from Soulard to Cherokee Street — deserves a champion who will fight for safe streets, strong local businesses, and housing that works for families. Her vision is bold, people-centered, and grounded in the belief that when the heart of our city is strong, the whole city thrives.
